You should not judge the album of A-Rookie squeezing it into the frame of some clichéd musical and artistic event so deeply loved by critics. As well as trying to place yourself to some pseudo-meditative mood so highly rated by audio-graphomaniacs. This triskaidekaphobic octopus made of notes will cruelly slash the artificial mist of the uninteresting with its tentacles of furious saxophone rattle. And echo of something otherworldly that once used to be jazz melodies will strangle the fake listener’s interest.
If you are the fanatical adept of fastidious, almost “neurosurgical” analysis of any creative work then be ready for the lot of unwanted by Papa Legba. The door to the world of “Each One Teach One” will always be closed for talks with magical music Loa spirits, and the chalk drawings on the surface of the vinyl will remain unnoticed by trickster-inspirers.
But still the listener will have to make a small sacrifice to the chancel of the album’s universe. To give 47 minutes of your life – for someone it is incommensurable price, but the daring ones will get the viewless ties with other members of the circle in return.

"A-rookie" is a hip-hop/downtempo producer from Saratov(Russia). His obsession with hip-hop began in the first half of 00's. He started as a beatmaker in hip-hop band called "4dust". Then his music slowly turned into some kind of weird mutation and symbiosis of sample-based downtempo, acid jazz and hip-hop inspired by atmosphere and sound of 60's and 70's music(especially rock and jazz). I hope all other details you will learn from the music.
